Third Blog: The Role of Technology in my Profession and Life

Hello everyone! How are you? The topic of what I am going to talk about today is technology. Nowadays it is very common to use technology for almost anything, from services to work and entertainment. So, in order to live life today, it is necessary to have knowledge and have some electronic devices such as a cell phone, a computer, among others. What pieces of technology do you use in your daily life?
Personally, I use my phone more for downloading and listening to music than for other productive things.
Although, I'm trying to put it to better use, and I'm taking courses in various things like "photoshop" and "drawing". As I said before in another blog, my favorite piece of technology is one of my two cellphones (yes, I have two). This is the old one, and it work already; so I put all my music on it, in therms of the memory of the phone. In this phone I save so many songs and artists like Fall Out Boy, BTS, Imagine Dragons, 2NE1, Little Mix, and the list continue. I use the technology most of the time. I do university homeworks, listen music, read books, save and the images, watch movies and stay in comunication with the people I love and I can`t see, because de pandemic and the distance. But, I think technology has its downside. For example, there are machines that cook for you (slicing, peeling, chopping, etc.); so, if we use them too much, we won't learn to do those activities on our own. I believe that this type of "help" should be given to every senior citizen or person with a disability that prevents them from doing these activities. It makes the rest of us lazy.
But this is just a personal opinion What advantages and disadvantages of technology do you know? Best regards

First Blog: The places I would like to know

The thruth is that I am never had a favorite color, thing, person or place, if i`m sincere. There are so many places and locations that i would like to know. So, i will make a list (a looong list). 1. One of them maybe could be the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha in Brasil. I think it is a warm place, with sunny days, and is a world heritage, and I'm interested in patrimony. 2. Another place could be Denmark, I would like to go to the Kronborg`s castle, another world heritage. And, of course, i canot missing Copenhague and the lake Kronborg, a lake upon the ocean (i really love it). 3. La Toscana, in Italy, is one of the most beautiful regions that i`ve ever seen. Cities with artistic and cultural patrimony (again), like Florencia o Siena, and pretty little towns like San Gimignano o Volterra. Definitely, a place that i really want to go someday. 4. The Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. It was the residence of the kings of Korea in the Joseon Dynasty, duri...

BLOG 5: A photograph that I like

Hi everyone! Today I`m going to write about my actual favorite photo 📷✨ (I don't know what is she looking at 👀) It is one of the most recent photos that I took. It`s me and my mom in "Los Heroes`s Plaza", in the center of Rancagua. We were there after participating in the last votes made on April 16th of this year ✅. We had to accompany my grandmother and my great-aunt to the voting, for transportation issues (`cause we live far away)and to help them remember who they wanted to vote and then how to close the ballots. I had to learn many names and remember who is who, because my grandmother voted in Rancagua, but my great-aunt voted in Lo Miranda. So, you can imagine, that it was a lot of names. I took the picture before we going to Lo Miranda; where, after my great-aunt voted, we stopped by to see some family, so I was out all day. It was definitely a very loong and exhausting day 💤. I like a lot of photos. But, honestly, I don't have a favorite. Currently, this i...

BLOG 8: A subject that I enjoyed studying this semester

Hi everyone! 🌻✨ I hope you are well Today I`m going to talk about my favorite subject of the first semester of my second year on University And the subject is… Makeup! (What a surprise, no? 😂) Basically, we do a lot of practice in ourselves, `cause is a personal work (and in this pandemic context 😷, we don’t have models. But, the work start in ourselves) In class, we talk about the different types of makeup, if this one is based of water, alcohol or oil. The makeup brushes for foundation, shadows or illumination have this form, this angle, etc. We share tips and techniques to do the makeups, because there is not one technique ❌. We learn about how made natural makeup (in my case natural latex and fake blood), because the sensitive skins are allergic. In this semester, we studied our own faces, the type of skin we have, and how are our face bones to do our first evaluation in 2d, create volume from contrast. Then, `cause we know the human crani...
