BLOG 8: A subject that I enjoyed studying this semester

 Hi everyone! 🌻✨

I hope you are well

Today I`m going to talk about my favorite subject of the first semester of my second year on University

And the subject is…

Makeup! (What a surprise, no? 😂)

Basically, we do a lot of practice in ourselves, `cause is a personal work (and in this pandemic context 😷, we don’t have models. But, the work start in ourselves)

In class, we talk about the different types of makeup, if this one is based of water, alcohol or oil. The makeup brushes for foundation, shadows or illumination have this form, this angle, etc.

We share tips and techniques to do the makeups, because there is not one technique ❌.

We learn about how made natural makeup (in my case natural latex and fake blood), because the sensitive skins are allergic.

In this semester, we studied our own faces, the type of skin we have, and how are our face bones to do our first evaluation in 2d, create volume from contrast.

Then, `cause we know the human cranium, now we go for the animals (and monsters!) skulls and bones. Now, we have to create a non-human creature; for that, we are work in 3d thanks to prosthesis (I don`t have photos of this job because I haven`t started yet 😅😓)

So, as you can see 👀, the whole semester was basically around the bone structure 💀

I like this subject, because is (like many subjects in this career), something I don`t knew anything about; and was my first experience in this area.

I like it, because is an experimental subject, where you try and try until you find your own technique, and because it`s let you create whatever you want or imagine ✅.

Now, you know which subject is my favorite for when I will ask you!

Thanks as always for reading and

Will see you soon! 💕

(My two attempts of made a human skull)
(I made the flower crown myself, I think it`s decent, don't you?)

First Blog: The places I would like to know

The thruth is that I am never had a favorite color, thing, person or place, if i`m sincere. There are so many places and locations that i would like to know. So, i will make a list (a looong list). 1. One of them maybe could be the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha in Brasil. I think it is a warm place, with sunny days, and is a world heritage, and I'm interested in patrimony. 2. Another place could be Denmark, I would like to go to the Kronborg`s castle, another world heritage. And, of course, i canot missing Copenhague and the lake Kronborg, a lake upon the ocean (i really love it). 3. La Toscana, in Italy, is one of the most beautiful regions that i`ve ever seen. Cities with artistic and cultural patrimony (again), like Florencia o Siena, and pretty little towns like San Gimignano o Volterra. Definitely, a place that i really want to go someday. 4. The Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. It was the residence of the kings of Korea in the Joseon Dynasty, duri...

BLOG 5: A photograph that I like

Hi everyone! Today I`m going to write about my actual favorite photo 📷✨ (I don't know what is she looking at 👀) It is one of the most recent photos that I took. It`s me and my mom in "Los Heroes`s Plaza", in the center of Rancagua. We were there after participating in the last votes made on April 16th of this year ✅. We had to accompany my grandmother and my great-aunt to the voting, for transportation issues (`cause we live far away)and to help them remember who they wanted to vote and then how to close the ballots. I had to learn many names and remember who is who, because my grandmother voted in Rancagua, but my great-aunt voted in Lo Miranda. So, you can imagine, that it was a lot of names. I took the picture before we going to Lo Miranda; where, after my great-aunt voted, we stopped by to see some family, so I was out all day. It was definitely a very loong and exhausting day 💤. I like a lot of photos. But, honestly, I don't have a favorite. Currently, this i...
